Why Won’t You See Me?

One of the most difficult things that I faced was never feeling seen, even by those close to me. Too caught up in their worldview and perceptions of the LGBTQ community and religion, they refuse to look past that and see me for what I truly am. Am I not worth the effort it takes to stop outside of your bias and appreciate me for who I truly am?
